EnVision’s rapid prototyping bureau services were utilised by hundreds of south African companies to grow thousands of proprietary designs from 2004 to 2017.
Since not all customers had their own in-house design facilities, EnVision was often called upon to assist with creating, modifying or simply translating the CAD data prior to printing a particular revision.
Services included painting prototyped parts upon request.
Our professional Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) equipment produced parts in strong, durable engineering plastic comprising ABS & polycarbonate that exhibited consistent dimensional accuracy and stability. Step layer thicknesses as low as 0.178mm could be prescribed, with a minimum wall thickness of 0.7mm. Parts that extended beyond the build envelope of the machines were grown in interlocking sections and assembled.
